A year ago Scott Walker won the Governor's Office in Wisconsin promising "It's all about jobs".
Since then as the country has pulled out of the Wall Street bankster recession, all states have added jobs. Except for Mr. Walker's 'jobs jobs jobs' Wisconsin. Since Mr. Walker's budget kicked in this past July, the state has lost 35 thousand jobs. No other state has done so poorly.
Facing recall, the Governor has made trips to the rubber chicken circuit, most recently at the James Madison Institute in Florida begging for cash to fight the 'union ads' he says are being run against him.
Here is where I scratch my head. The one shaking back and forth.
There have been no union ads. Lotsa Koch Brother Americans For Prosperity ads and Walker ads (he's spent $7 million so far telling us his program is working). We're headed in the right direction we're told.
Meanwhile the Philadelphia Federal Reserve isn't buying it. "There is little prospect that such trends will reverse given the contractionary policies implemented in the budget".
